Biography

A three-year-old filly, Millionreasonswhy won her first career start as a two-year-old in sloppy conditions at Colonial Downs Race Course in Providence Forge, Va. on June 11, 2011 (the day of the Belmont Stakes). After a slow start, she then tipped out in the stretch, steadily gained and took the lead inside the sixteenth pole and won the race under jockey, Geovany Garcia; competed in the 104th running of the $150,000 Grade II Matron Stakes at Belmont Park on July 3, 2011. Under jockey John Velazquez, she finished two lengths in front of Say a Novena while clocking six furlongs in 1:12.68; finished second by a neck to Breeders' Cup Juvenile Filly Champion, My Miss Aurelia in the Grade II Adirondack Stakes on Aug. 14; made her 2012 and three-year-old debut in the Wide Country Stakes at Laurel Park on March 3, winning by 1 1/4 lengths; competed in the Comely Stakes (GII) at Aqueduct on April 7 and placed third.
