Biography

Humble and Hungry earned his maiden victory at Belmont Park on Oct. 10, 2010; raced in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (GII) on Nov. 6, 2010 at Churchill Downs. He put in a strong effort rushing to contention four wide, contested the pace to the final furlong; raced at Keeneland in Lexington, Ky. for the 75th Anniversary of Opening Day on April 8, 2011 and finished in third place under jockey, Jose Lezcano; competed in the James W. Murphy Stakes on Preakness Day (May 21, 2011) at Pimlico finishing second, earning $20,000; finished third in the Hill Prince Stakes (GIII) on June 18, 2011 at Belmont Park earning $10,000; competed in the $150,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes (GII) at Saratoga on Aug. 12, 2011 finishing third; ran at Belmont Park on Oct. 6, 2012 in an allowance race, placing second in a tight finish behind Dynafortwo; won the $111,200 Commonwealth Turf Stakes (GIII) on Nov. 3 at Churchill Downs covering one-and-one-sixteenth miles in 1:45.24 on a sloppy track under jockey, Jose Lezcano; made his four-year-old debut on April 28, 2012, finishing fourth in the Henry S. Clark Stakes at Pimlico.
